Ood decisions we have a lot of good things happening. We were just speaking with the department of commerce and we have interest in our country like weve never had before. Do you regret targeting baltimore . Baltimore has been very badly mishandled for many years. Its a corrupt city. There is no question about it. All you have to do is look at the facts. The government has been pumping billions of dollars to no avail. Whatmore is an example of corrupt government leads to. Billi
Sailors, and marines, had criticized the commander of the u. S. Navy. Including criticizing him for mistreating british prisoners. This is embarrassing to the u. S. Government, but think about it. The Founding Fathers put everything on the line. This was not an election or paul. If they lost the revolution, they would get hung for treason. In the middle of thats revolution, they paused, and they said every inhabitant of the United States should report waste, fraud, and corruption to congress and appropriate authorities, even if it barest the new government it embarrassed the new government. They passed the law and voted money for the lawyers for the whistleblowers who had been thrown in jail. And they released all of the ,apers that were controversial that were embarrassing to the government. The whistleblowers won the case. 1778, so this30, is not some token day. Did something happen this morning i did not know about . All is well. I am here. You became our 70th secretary of state in april 2018. You are happy with the job . Everyday. Not everybody decides to either commit themselves to protecting the country or to putting their lives on hold for several years to protect the country. So we think that in many cases, that for a person has spent 2025, even 30 years in the military, they decide to start 2nd careers and Public Service and often in the service of other members of the military. Im not talking just about the pentagon of course, but also about the department of Veterans Affairs. So many of our active duty Service Members and retired veterans need help and they often go to veterans hospitals for that help. But what happens when you decide to dedicate your life to helping your fellow veterans . And you see evidence of waste, fraud, abuse, or illegality. What happens when you see that the entire system is broken, that its set up not to help people, but simply to check a bureaucratic box. Im just and curiosity. Welcome to the we
