The management of the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) has launched an anti-encroachment drive to free the sides of the roads passing through the market areas in the township that are occupied by unauthorized vendors. Earth-movers were used to raze the unauthorized carts, kiosks, and sinages besides the constructions that encroach upon BSL land at the City Centre area. Another BSL team evacuated illegal occupants from around a dozen quarters.
