No bright orange glow, gasia. What a site it was yesterday. Today were back to our old faithful fogfilled sky. Theres plenty of smoke in the sky. That means two thirds of the air quality is poor quality, especially if you live in the east bay or north bay. This bears repeating. What a difference a day looks. Heres a look at oakland, wednesday draped in that bright orange hue and then back to the well take it. This is looking down on highway 24, foggy and gray there and as we go into the Rockbridge Area much of the same area. After fires, extreme heat, blackouts, anything that resembles normalcy in 2020 well take it. The reason were standing here is because this orientation for visitors is central to the design center, itself. The oranges we have seen the past couple of days once the sun eventually does come up, you will notice that the air the smoke has a bit of a tinge to it but its going to look more just and healthy than anything else air quality continues to deteriorate and now almost all of the bay area is in our very worst category as far as air quality goes this is the worst weve ever put on this smoke map. Not all season long so far weve seen some bad air so far but as that smoky level continues to sink further and further down. Now this is where were sitting and likely will be sitting throughout the course of the rest of the day so its not just fog. Its a lot of smoke imbedded within that fog thats making its way on shore visibility in Half Moon Bay below a mile right now San Francisco also has some visibility problem spots as do the hills above the east bay and fog is going to be sitting with us for some time so do expect kind of a gloomy start to this friday morning and not a friday that you want
