The restoring parts campaign started three years ago at pew and we are focused on protecting National Park resources, cultural resources, Natural Resources by addressing the deferred maintenance backlog at plaguing our National Parks system. Currently there are 12 billion worth of repairs that needs to be done across our parts nationwide. Os have been underfunded the ks entire time or is it something that happened over the past few years suddenly . Its been happening over a number of years, the past edecade or more for another reason, our National Parks service is over 100 years old. And he is silly and infrastructure parks are deteriorating, a lot of the infrastructure is reached the end of its lifespan read you that over 300 million visitors come to our parks each year, that had some pressure and yet absolutely right, theres just not enough funding eachyear for the Parks Service to keep up with repairs. Also on appian way onramp to eastbound 80 we have a bike that collided with a deer, we have chp on the scene and also a few other Emergency Response vehicles, starting to see the typical delays fill in on westbound 80 through that stretch as well. New this morning lanes are back open on eastbound 80 in San Francisco heading to the bay bridge after a driver hit and killed a pedestrian. It happened around 3 30 this morning on the freeway near Fourth Street. The pedestrian ended up on the top of a gray porsche. The crash closed three lanes for about an hour, all lanes were back open by 4 30. This is not clear how the pedestrian ended up on the freeway. The agent arranged a storage unit where he agreed to take any supplies for the plot. He showed up with three backpacks at one meeting.
