Bengaluru: K-12 coding platform Codingal in collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) concluded HPE CodeWars 2021 India Edition, making the event India’s biggest ever coding event for students, driving 3000 registrations.
The first of its kind virtual coding competition received participation from over 1500 schools from across 173 cities pan-India with Bangalore, Patna, Lucknow, Pune and Delhi driving maximum participation for the competition. Students from Grade 9 to 12 solved 25 coding problems using programming languages like C, C++, Python, and Java. It was a test of their coding, mathematical, and logical skills at the highest level possible.
Mohit Hulse of Grade-12th from Sri Kumaran Public School, Bangalore secured first place in the competition and will now get an opportunity to run experiments in HPE’s Spaceborne Computer-2 (SBC-2) located aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
