New Delhi– India’s coronavirus recovery rate currently stands at 82.33 per cent, an official statement said on Wednesday.
“… India’s cumulative recoveries stand at 1,48,17,371 today. The National Recovery Rate is 82.33 per cent…
“The National Mortality Rate has been falling and currently stands at 1.12 per cent,” the statement said.
It also said that five states/Union Territories – Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have not reported any Covid deaths in the last 24 hours. (IANS)
With Rising Covid-19 Cases, Uttar Pradesh To Implement Lockdown From 30 April To 4 May

Amid rising Covid-19 cases in the state, Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government has decided to implement lockdown from 30 April evening to 4 May morning.
âLockdown in the state will now remain imposed from Friday evenings to 7 am on Tuesdays. The decision has been taken in the wake of Covid-19 situation,â
ANI said on twitter.
Indiaâs most populous state Uttar Pradesh has reported more than 29 thousand cases in the last 24 hours. The state is just behind Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala in the number of cases reported.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 15 crore, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday. Cumulatively, 15,00,20,648 vaccine doses have been administered through 22,07,065 sessions, according to the provisional report till 7 am.
