RIPLEY On Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, Richard Harrison McCutcheon, loving husband, farmer, and father of four, passed away in a house fire at the age of 63 years old.
Rick was born Oct. 12, 1957, in Westfield, N.Y., the son of the late Frank and Marlene McCutcheon. He spent his childhood tending to his family’s land on Forsythe Farm.
Rick graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School in the Class of 1975, and then attended Ohio Institute of Technology earning an associate’s degree. After spending 12 years working as a computer tech in California following college, he returned to the McCutcheon Estate in 1988 to run his family farm in Westfield, N.Y.
