They fired right in front of the capitol at first and constitution. They heard seven to eight shots fired as the woman was not hit. She kept on going. A barricade went up here at 1st and institution. It did not stop the woman. She apparently was before the barricade went up and went driving up constitution avenue. But that barricade, they did stop the Capitol Police officer. Damaging his car, injuring him. Here is kathy talking about the incident. Reporter at the at the white house and the capitol, the security perimeters worked. They did exactly what they were suppose to do and they stopped the suspect from breaching the security perimeters, both in a vehicle at both locations.
