In the hospital it happened on seymour avenue just after midnight. Brian thompson is there with what we know so far. Brian . Reporter mike, were only about three blocks from Police Headquarters in newark. But they have been patrolling this area since the shooting trying to reassure residents theyre on top of this. The shooter is still on the loose at this point. There have been six Fatal Shootings in the cityn little over 72 hours. Now, in in particular case it was just after midnight that a gunman opened fire on two people here. According to a neighbor, the two were on the porch of this house waiting for a taxi cab. The man walked into the house and then collapsed dead. The woman apparently shot in the foot. This neighbor says she was pregnant and police have heard the same thing. The hospital just a few minutes later. There is no motive at this point for police. President gunman apparently a little bit more than across the street according to this neighbor.
