As the mayor mentioned, weve been giving gift cards out to families and working with seniors so they can purchase things online using those cards. Weve been developing Distance Learning materials and distributing thousands of books, computers, and activity sheets throughout communities that have not only been hit by coronavirus, but prior to this pandemic and having this shelter in place were struggling with the achievement and opportunity gap.
