Duszak regains top spot in FITEQ singles world ranking Thursday, 7 January 2021 Poland’s Adrian Duszak returned to the top of the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) singles world ranking.  Duszak overtook Hungary s three-time world champion Ádám Blázsovics in the rankings after playing in a number of events last month.  Victories came at the Polish National Challenger Series, where Duszak qualified for the 2021 Teqball World Championships, and the FITEQ Challenger Cup in Brazil.  He now has 16856 world ranking points, while Blázsovics, who had taken the top spot in November, has 15010.  There was little change in the rest of the top 10 apart from Duszak’s compatriot Patryk Kaminski’s rise from 12th to ninth.

Duszak ends year with victory at FITEQ Challenger Cup in Brazil Wednesday, 23 December 2020 Men s world number two Adrian Duszak finished the year with a singles win at an International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) Challenger Cup event in Brazil. Athletes from the host country, Romania, Israel and Poland competed across singles and doubles events in the Brazilian city of Porto Alegre.  Duszak, who has only lost one singles match since the return of teqball after the COVID-19 pandemic, entered the tournament as a firm favourite. He survived a close 12-11, 12-8 encounter with Rodrigo Bento Medeiros, before beating both Carlos Vasques and Leonardo Lindoso de Almeida 12-4, 12-8 in the knockout rounds.
