Carlisle College shortlisted for national award
Carlisle College has been shortlisted for a national award.
The college, based on Victoria Place, is a national finalist in the ‘Promoting Apprenticeships Campaign of the Year’ category at the FE Week and AELP Apprenticeship Awards 2021.

Shortlisting was announced at a virtual event earlier this month, which was hosted by impressionist and comedian Rory Bremner. In total 350 entries were submitted to the awards across the categories.
Last summer, in light of the pandemic, the college embarked on its 100 in 100 campaign, aimed at promoting apprenticeships. The drive was designed to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on students by helping to support and develop apprenticeship placements, securing 100 Apprenticeship Opportunities in 100 Days, between July 1 and October 9.
