President and deferring to the leadership of the democratic leader in the United States senate, not only did this senator who made this statement indicate his approval of the deal, this senator voted to block an upordown vote on the deal in the United States senate. In other words, participated in the filibuster of this vote. So, mr. President , this debate is one that the American People deserve to hear. I know that the press, as they typically do, like to keep score and like to move on to other things. But this is one that the American People deserve to hear and its one theyve demanded. And, frankly, from what they know so far, they dont like this deal. 21 have said they approve of it. With so many of you having returned home after this labor day weekend. There is one couple most thankful to be back from their vacation at sea turning into a nightmare. They were stranded in the ocean for a week. No food. No walter. No way to call for help. How did they make it out alive . Heres abcs matt gutman. Reporter bo and elizabeth say they should be dead. For nearly a week, the florida couple floated aimlessly. Ship wrecked ten miles south of the florida coast after the engine on their sailboat died. The streets there. Hours before the curfew went into effect police fired tear gas at hundreds of protesters. Ron johnson says the protests spiraled out of control and police had no other choice. Molotov cocktails were thrown. There were shootings, looting, vandalism and other acts of violence that clearly appear not to have been spontaneous, but premeditated criminal acts designed to damage property, hurt people and provoke a response. Also the other big news, a preliminary autopsy conduct the on behalf of Michael Browns family shows the 18yearold was shot at least six times including twice in his head, some bullets entered and exited brown several times. The aups found no gunpowder on browns body which could indicate he was not shot from close range. He was shot after a struggle. Officials have identified darren wilson, a sixyear police veteran as the officer who shot him. More than 100 people gathered for a rally to support him and collect donations for wilson and his family. Ferguso
