Blotter: Watertown city police activity for Monday, April 12

WATERTOWN — Nathen W. Davis, 28, of 37 Bridge St., Carthage, was charged by city police Sunday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. According to police records, Mr. Davis was found to be in possession of an Exergen-brand infared thermometer taken from the Samaritan Medical Center dialysis department. Police say Mr. Davis kept the thermometer with the intent of using it personally and prevented SMC from recovering the device. Mr. Davis was arrested, processed on scene and released with an appearance ticket for his charge. Susan G. Bishop, 22, of 850 Superior St., was charged by city police Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an equipment violation.

Blotter: Jefferson County police activity for Monday, Dec 28

WATERTOWN — Shaun K. Brandon, 26, of 224 Sherman St., Apt. 3, was charged by city police Sunday with second-degree criminal impersonation of a public servant and second-degree criminal trespass. According to police records, at about 8:58 p.m., Mr. Brandon knocked on the door of Kathryn E. Lillie’s apartment and announced himself as a “Watertown sheriff’s deputy” in an attempt to gain access to the apartment. Ms. Lillie opened the door, and Mr. Brandon entered her apartment against her wishes. Mr. Brandon was arrested at 10:04 p.m. at his residence, taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, processed and released with an appearance ticket.
