It didn’t take the Brush City Council long on Monday night to say “new year, new me.” Within a few minutes of its meeting, the council swore in its new members. Nathan Tyree, Justin Spradlin, Daniel Scalise, and David Basil were individually sworn in and then took their seats next to their fellow councilors. Tyree was the Ward 1 incumbent, who ran unopposed last November. Spradlin was the Ward 3 incumbent who beat out two other candidates.
