Fire crews spent hours putting out flames very close to this neighborhood. Terry shaw lost his rental property. I was at home, a friend of mine called me and asked if i heard what was going on here and i said, no, and she said, well, your house burnt down. Reporter four homes in all were damaged. Dozens of firefighters and utility workers surrounded the area. No one was evacuated, but they came close to it. With the wind gusts, the dry vegetation and low humidity levels it was prime for a wildfire. Reporter fire crews worked about 45 acres burned throughout the afternoon. According to the officials in the area the winds didnt help.
