(seminoles.com) – Leonard Hamilton, who has led the Florida State Basketball Team to a second place finish in the ACC standings, has been named as a semifinalist for the Werner Ladder National Coach of the Year award.  Hamilton is one of ten semifinalists for the National Coach of the Year award and the only coach on the semifinal list from the ACC. For Florida State, the second place finish in the ACC standings and No. 2 overall seed in 2021 marks the third consecutive year and fourth time in the last five seasons that it has earned a double bye in the ACC Tournament.   In recent years, the Seminoles have been seeded second (in 2017), fourth (in 2019), first (in 2020) and second (2021).
