Ten children allegedly born to one woman in South Africa are fighting for life in hospital, their aunt has claimed, adding that mother Gosiame Sithole is also recovering.
Gosiame Sithole, 37, claims to have given birth to 10 children in South Africa
She was today appealing for donations of nappies, baby formula and cash
Sithole claims she is relying on elderly mother-in-law to help raise the brood
Officials said they are aware of the case and will send a social worker tomorrow to try and confirm what would be a record live birth
The Moroccan clinic where the infants were delivered last month, and are being treated, also said on Wednesday that they were breathing without assistance and had put on weight.
