Catching up with Nadya Suleman’s and her octuplets now – Malian woman set to break World Record for babies born!
In January 2009, Nadya Suleman (who goes by the name Natalie Suleman online), gave birth to eight babies: Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, and Makai.
Suleman holds the Guinness World Record for the most children delivered at a single birth to survive.
However, on May 5th 2021, a Malian woman, Halima Cisse, gave birth to nine babies in Morocco.
Mali’s health minister, Fanta Siby, congratulated the medical teams in Mali and Morocco for the “happy outcome.”

Halima Cisse, 25, gave birth to five girls and four boys on Tuesday at around 30 weeks into her pregnancy
She was expected to give birth to seven babies, an ultrasound originally showed, but two more were found
Nonuplets are extremely rare and medical complications are common when it comes to multiple births
Ms Cisse was flown from Mali to Casablanca in Morocco to make sure the babies were delivered safely
