The Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam (TISI Sangam) has supported members facing difficulties.
President Sadasivan Naicker said the initiative began in the Western Division.
“Last week, we thought of the people from the Southern Division who have been in lockdown for past 7-8 weeks,” said Mr Naicker.
“We thought of assisting Suva Sangam members with 1000 food packs.
“Same we did for Nasinu Sangam. “And we also gave 40 packs of food rations to our Navua members.
“We are now planning to do the same this week for the members in Rewa district.
