Narayana Murthy, 77, had sparked a huge debate in the country when he suggested in October last year that India's work culture needs to change and that youngsters should be prepared to work for 70 hours a week.
The year featured a variety of iconic moments from many sectors, from Infosys founder Narayana Murthy's comments on the 70-hour work week to the internet wanting to know what Orry does.
"In other words, if Mr Gates and Mr Narayana Murthy sit down together and work out a compromise, we will end up exactly where we are, with a five-day work week!" the Congress leader said.
