The joint demonstration in Spain leveraged the Qualcomm Snapdragon X35 platform, which is a new New Radio (NR)-Light modem RF. Ericsson said the demonstration is part of preparations for the introduction of Snapdragon-based commercial RedCap devices which are expected in 2024.
