We are going to take it to hong kong. There were tens of thousands of people out on the streets again in hong kong. There had been a protest in a public park that had been authorised by police but it had spilled out and in view of the authorities, anything outside of the park was deemed to be illegal. Now we have got demonstrators and heavily Armed Security forces. You will recall that hong kong has seen eight consecutive weekends of Anti Government and pro democracy protests. Yesterday, police fired and rubber bullets at another protest in the north and we have seen the same action taken today by the police. It all began several weeks ago because of opposition to a bill whereby people from hong kong could be extradited to the chinese mainland. That bill has been dropped but it has become more about the autonomous status that hong kong is supposed to enjoy which of course makes it a very different place from mainland china. Two premier League Footballers have been the victims of an attempted carjacking by an armed gang in london. The arsenal players mesut ozil and Sead Kolasinac were targeted, but both escaped uninjured. Footage on social media appears to show kolasinac chasing the robbers away. Simonjones reports. Sead kolasinac darts towards the front of the vehicle to fend off one attacker, and then with agility normally seen on the football field, he turned his attention to the other biker at the back. But the ordeal isnt over. The footballers were then pursued for around a mile by the men on motorbikes, they abandoned their 4x4 here, they raced into this turkish restaurant to ask for help. A man had to be rescued from a beach in norfolk after his leg became wedged between rocks while the tide was in. He was stuck for nearly three hours, at one point submerged up three hours, at one point submerged up to his neck. Our correspondent reports. The moment the Emergency Services rescued a man who was trapped between the rocks on the north norfolk coast. The tide was in, and they worked quickly to keep his head above the water. Sheringhams lifeguard was the first on the scene. The patient had his foot wedged down in between the rock and the structure here. When i arrived on scene, he was getting hammered by pretty severe tidal waves, and so i basically came in with a rescue tube to wedge it between him and the rock, and then sheltered him with my body when waves were impacting.
