Naomi Dwyer will step down from her role as chief executive of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service after three and a half years at the helm.
Professor Dwyer said it was time for her to stop and âsmell the rosesâ and spend more time with loved ones.
In a statement from the service, Prof Dwyer said it had been an âabsolute honourâ to lead the health service and its team of professionals.
âI am proud of the commitment of every member of our team, and I am humbled by the remarkable achievements that we have achieved together over the last few years,â she said in a statement.
