JAMMU, Dec 16: Indian Army killed two Pakistan Army soldiers along the Line of Control (LoC) opposite the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir s Rajouri district, according to news agency ANI which quoted unnamed sources.
It said that according to sources, the incident happened on Tuesday. Two Pakistan Army soldiers were killed along LoC opposite Nowshera sector by Indian Army while retaliating to ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army there yesterday, ANI said quoting ‘sources’.
A statement by Pakistan army also confirmed that two Pakistani soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire with Indian troops at the LoC.
Islamabad, Pakistan – Two Pakistani soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire with Indian troops at the heavily militarised Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed mountainous territory of Kashmir, Pakistan’s military said.
“During [an] intense exchange of fire two soldiers, Naik Shahjahan, age 35 years and Sepoy Hameed, age 21 years, while fighting valiantly embraced [martyrdom],” said a Pakistan military statement issued late on Tuesday, adding that the incident took place in the Bagsar region of Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
It added that Pakistani forces inflicted “heavy losses to Indian troops in men and material”, but did not mention specifics.
India’s military did not issue an official statement on the exchange of fire.
KARACHI: Two Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom on Tuesday as Indian troops violated ceasefire in the Bagsar Sector along the Line of Control.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army troops responded befittingly and caused heavy losses to Indian troops in men and material.
During the intense exchange of fire, Naik Shahjahan, 35, and Sepoy Hameed, 21, embraced shahadat while fighting valiantly, the ISPR said.
