Andrabi to be tried for waging war against nation | India News

NEW DELHI: A Delhi court on Monday ordered framing of charges against Kashmiri separatist Aasiya Andrabi and her two aides for allegedly waging war against India, sedition and conspiracy to commit acts of terror in the country. Special judge Parveen Singh ordered putting Andrabi and her associates Sofi Fehmeeda and Nahida Nasreen on trial for various offences punishable under the IPC and UAPA. The charges are scheduled to be formally framed on January 18. As per the NIA, the trio was actively running the terrorist organisation, Dukhtaran-E-Millat. They were using various media platforms to spread insurrectionary imputations and hateful speeches that endanger the integrity, security and sovereignty of India, the NIA said.
