Four members hospitalised due to hunger strike

 ANATG-2015 to submit representation to CM today Our Correspondent Kohima, Oct. 2 (EMN): At least four teachers have been hospitalised in the last three days while on hunger strike demanding regularisation of their service at Solidarity Park, Kohima. A member taken to the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima on Saturday relapsed, and was admitted at Oking Hospital where he stayed the night. He was discharged on Sunday and his condition is reportedly stable. The 2015 batch of All Nagaland Ad hoc Teachers’ Association (ANATG) have been staging a sit-in since Monday, demanding the government to regularise their services. The protest entered the seventh day on Sunday, including the last four-day hunger strike. The 1166 teachers on Saturday unanimously decided to submit a representation to the state government rejecting the decision of setting up a High Powered Committee to address the issue.
