(PNA file photo) BAGUIO CITY - The city government has reactivated its temporary treatment and monitoring facilities (TTMFs) following the continued surge in coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases. Public Information Office chief Aileen Refuerzo, in a message on Thursday evening, said the City Health Services Office (HSO) has activated the Eurotel and Pinkhouse TTMFs, after these were temporarily closed in December due to an improved Covid-19 situation. The TTMFs are directly handled by the HSO and managed by the city government. From only 40 active cases as of Dec. 30, 2021, the Department of Health-Cordillera that the city's active Covid-19 cases jumped to 4,272, with 587 new cases logged as of Thursday. The city still has two other similar facilities ready to be activated to accommodate Covid-19 patients.
