In-person learning going strong in South Umpqua district
In the South Umpqua School District, all schools have been open for in-person learning since the beginning of the year.

MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. Most schools in Douglas County are open for in-person learning at this point, and one superintendent says it has been going well.
In the South Umpqua School District, all schools have been open for in-person learning since the beginning of the year.
However, the superintendent said they have been very strict about social distancing, mask wearing and sanitizing. She said the students and staff have been cooperative since the beginning.
