Susquehanna Valley businesses are getting ready for loosened COVID-19 restrictions on occupancy and alcohol sales, starting April 4.At the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Lancaster County, tables are spaced. Although the occupancy limit will increase to 75%, the theater is holding steady. Unfortunately, for us it doesn’t really impact. Since we have to keep the social distanced tables, we will be staying at the 50% capacity, Myla Merkel said.But allowing alcohol sales without the purchase of food will have a positive impact. We have the option of show-only tickets, so that impacts our show-only guests as well because they’re able to order a drink, Merkel said.Venues from theaters to ballparks, along with restaurants and gyms, are all wrestling with being able to expand occupancy yet follow social distancing guidelines.
