This is the last thing that those Business Owners wanted it hear. For the last few days, they were among just a couple counties here in the bay area not on the states watch list because were hearing now that that could soon change. County leaders believe that it could happen as soon as tuesday, tomorrow. So if that were to happen, churches, hairsalons, gyms, tattoo parlors, they would all have to close. Business owners sharing their frustration.

All right, lisa, thank you. What School Looks Like for bay area students of all ages is coming into sharper focus. Districts are detailing their plans for fall. But the push to bring kids back to classrooms is getting push back from many teachers. The debate over education is so important it is a key focus of our efforts to build a better bay area. Kate larson heard from two of the Largest School districts in the bay area, oakland and San Francisco about what they are planning this fall. Reporter in a presentation San Francisco Unified School District laid out a plan for the fall. While staff has not yet agreed the district is recommending almost all students distance learn when School Starts on august 17th. Small groups of priority students may be able to do inperson school. And once data suggests its safe a gradual return to a hybrid distance and inperson plan would begin. Amy hollyfield is live in berkeley for us this morning. Reporter School Districts across the bay area are discussing this now. What will Distance Learning look like. Berkeley voted on its model last nilts. O nght. One standout headline is what they decided on high school kids. They will be doing Distance Learning for the entire semester until the december break. Middle school and Elementary School students are saying that they will be Distance Learning for the first eight week. Oltslo remotely four days a week. Elementary students not in front of the computer as much, they are saying that they will meet with their teachers live online for about 30 minutes every morning and then will be 2k3wi6 given independent assignments. The school board has set up a town hall meeting for monday to help aunts questions about this new very unique way of educating students, so a good time for parents to come and ask all their questions.
