Date Time Manning Valley Race Club back on track after big wet Manning Valley Race Club has started work on a $1.2 million upgrade to its facilities following delays caused by record-breaking rains across the region. Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said the Taree club had to postpone upgrade work for five weeks due to flooding but is now back on track. “This funding could not come at a better time for Manning Valley Race Club as it gets back on its feet following the recent big wet,” Mr Bromhead said. “This $1.2 million investment from the NSW Government’s COVID-19 stimulus package will provide much welcome upgrades to horse tie-up day stalls, install new accessways and paths, construct wash bays, and improve drainage and wastewater management

Further works for Wingham s Isabella Street

MidCoast Council A road reconstruction of a 300 metre section of Isabella Street Wingham will be undertaken commencing late May, providing safety improvements for this stretch and a smoother driving surface for motorists. Tenders are being called for the works between the Dennes and Primrose Street intersections, and are being funded by the NSW Government in association with Council as part of the $100M Road Upgrade package. Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said these projects are important to maintain safe roads in our towns. “Providing safer driving conditions on busy streets in our towns is an important priority,” Mr Bromhead said. “That’s why the NSW Government continues to invest in important projects like this, which will deliver a smoother drive for road users and safer towns for residents.”
