Tamil Nadu CM, M K Stalin, has announced that the state government will provide financial assistance under the pre-matric scholarship scheme for Muslim girl students facilitated through the Waqf board. The scheme aims to benefit 1.26 lakh Muslim girl students studying in government and government-aided schools. Additionally, education loans for minority students will be increased and girls studying in government-aided minority schools will be included in the 'Pudhumani Penn' scheme.
