Facebook Share MUSKEGON, MI – The party is about to really get started in downtown Muskegon with the launch of its 12-block social district along which patrons will be able to stroll with their alcoholic beverages. The social district, designed to give the downtown a “year-round festival atmosphere” will have a full “launch” starting in mid-April, and could involve more than 20 alcohol-serving establishments. The district stretches nearly the full length of Western Avenue, from Eighth Street to just past Pine Street. It also includes parts of Clay Avenue.
