Srinagar, November 17(Scoop News)-The Joint Director Information Kashmir division, Inam-Ul-Haq Siddiqui has condoled the demise of ace Santoor player and Sufiana Maestro of Kashmir, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Saznawaz, who was also an ex. official of the department after he expired on Thursday following a brief illness.
In this connection, a condolence meet was chaired by the Joint Director at Division Office, Rambagh in which all the officers including Deputy Director (PR), Bilal Mukhtar; Assistant Director, M Aslam Khan; Cultural Officer, Burhan Hussain and employees participated.
The officers and employees expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Saznawaz who retired from government services a few months before.
On the occasion, the participants also highlighted his contributions in the department and the field of music and said that his death is a great loss to the entire Valley.
