Students are in the process of being bused back home. Breaking news now in san jose where a pedestrian was hit and killed. Kpix 5s keit do is live at the scene where police are looking for the driver. What can you tell us . Reporter right now, looks like they are collapsing the scene and they are allowing westbound traffic to go past the scene on capitol expressway. We are learning that the victim was in his 20s not 30s or 40s as last reported. At 1 30 police got a call of a man down in the eastbound lanes of capitol expressway before seven trees boulevard in east san jose. They tried to revive the man but pronounced him dead on scene. The car who hit him fled the scene. They do not have a description. Also, they say that there was no crosswalk at this particular intersection. Its unclear why he was crossing at the curve as it bends to the left. There was no streetlight on that particular side of the road. So that could be a factor in why he was struck and killed but they have their wo
