Town boss Roy Keane has revealed that the Blues have offered contracts to Shane O Connor, Liam Trotter, Jack Ainsley, Reggie Lambe, Troy Brown and Ian McLoughlin but has confirmed the release of Richard Wright, David Wright, Pim Balkestein, Ed Upson and Devann Yao.
Town s U18s completed a double over Norwich City with a 2-0 victory over the Canaries at their Colney training ground on Saturday morning. Kurt Robinson, who also scored in the 3-2 home victory earlier in the season, and Jack Ainsley netted the goals in the second half.
Roy Keane says the Blues’ lack of goals this season came as a surprise with skipper Jon Walters currently topping the goal charts with just seven. Town have led the Championship’s league for shots on target throughout the season, but the Blues boss says this matters little if those attempts aren’t converted into goals.
