Town s U18s completed their league programme with a 0-0 home draw with Millwall at Playford Road on Friday afternoon. Striker Jordan Rhodes came close to breaking the deadlock in the closing stages, but overall the two defences were on top.
Town have told defender Michael Synnott that he will not be offered a new contract when his current deal expires in the summer. On Wednesday TWTD revealed that the Blues were also releasing defender Ollie Fenn and goalkeeper Andy Plummer.
Town s U18s continue their defence of the FA Youth Cup tonight when they take on Liverpool at Anfield (KO 7pm). A fifth round trip to Burnley prior to Saturday, 4th February awaits the victors of the tie.
