a day-to-day basis with dangerous situations like that, and at times that they have to make the split-second decisions where they are in a potentially life-threatening situation. the mere fact that an argument is being made by the investigator in court that he was unarmed does not necessarily mean that he is not a threat to the officer. reporter: kristen, in court, we were not able to bring the camera into the court when he was granted 25,000 bond, and there are laws that stop the sheriff s department from sharing the mug shot. as far as the bagley family, they have a funeral saturday, but they are torn up, and they are thanking the lpd for getting the video out, and so there is positive movement for the community, but so many questions of moving forward especially now

disciplinary review, and other officers could face charges and the district attorney saying they are continuing the investigation, and potentially others could face charges. what else we learned that is significant today is that the d.a. as part of the review and the cases that these five officers were involved in, and they are part of the scorpion unit, and some controversy out there with the actions that some people are coming forward that the actions of the unit are abusive, and the d.a. is saying that he is going to review up to 100 cases, and some of which involve these five officers and then an additional officer that has been involved with could be potentially dismissed if the d.a. finds a problem with the way that the arrests were conducted, and so, there is so much more to come, but this today, it is for the five officers to have their day in court, and obviously for the family and the community to be able to face these officers.
