A 19-year-old, who had entered a
local train and ran away after misbehaving with a woman commuter, has been arrested by the police.
The incident had taken place on Friday in between
Vashi and Markhurd railway stations.
The accused, identified as Ayyan Azim Baig, has been arrested on charges of
molestation.
On Friday, around 8 am, the woman, who is a resident of Ghansoli and works in Parel, reached Vashi station and boarded the ladies compartment of a train for Mumbai.

Mumbai Animal Association (MAA) have lodged an FIR against unknown persons at Dahisar police station. A local animal feeder, Priya M, had noticed the torso of the dead pup behind Samaj Kalyan hall road, near Jari Mari gardens, Anand Nagar, Dahisar (east). A sharp weapon like a knife has been used in this crime. FIR was lodged on Sunday, said Saurabh Edwankar of MAA.
The local animal welfare worker, Priya, said: We work day and night taking care of the local community animals, and also feeding them out of compassion. Hence, it feels sickening to see that someone can actually behead a mute puppy.

A three-month-old puppy has been brutally killed in Mumbai and the beheaded body of the animal was recovered from the Dahisar area, police said on Tuesday.
The body was found lying near Jari Mari garden in Anand Nagar locality of the suburb on Sunday by a person who feeds strays, an official said.
