Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday said that peace in Afghanistan means peace in Pakistan , according to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations.
Gen Bajwa s remarks came during a meeting with Chairman Hizb-e-Wahadat Islami Afghanistan and former Chairman Afghan High Peace Council, Mohammad Karim Khalili, who called on the army chief at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi today, said the military s media wing.

Islamabad, January 11, 2021 (PPI-OT):Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that Afghan peace process would be culmination of an era of peace and prosperity in Afghanistan and the region. He reiterated Pakistan’s all-out support to Afghan led and Afghan owned peace process. He said this in a conversation with Afghan Hizb-e-Wahdat-e-Islami Chairman Muhammad Karim Khalili who met Speaker in Islamabad, this evening along with a delegation.
During the meeting, Pak-Afghan relations and the political situation in the region and issues of mutual interest came discussion. The Speaker said that Pakistan was desirous of seeing a peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan which is in the best interest of not only Pakistan but the entire region. ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said that Afghan peace process would be culmination of an era of peace and prosperity in Afghanistan and the region.
