Mugdha Srivastava, an undergrad student living in a PG near this road, said, “While walking on this stretch, one has to be so mindful of where they are stepping. The roads are so bad that there have been multiple incidents where students and locals have accidentally tripped or hurt themselves and I have witnessed a few myself. I myself have broken my footwear on this road.”
Financial constraints exacerbate the issue, as students must manage their expenses within the limited monthly allowances provided by their guardians. After accounting for necessities, many students opt for cheaper, often nutritionally deficient food options. This frugal approach to nutrition often results in smaller portion sizes and reliance on snacks lacking in essential nutrients.
