WEYMOUTH’s newest supermarket has opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday morning (January 19), with dozens of jobs created. The Food Warehouse, run by retail giants Iceland, opened at 8am inside the former Aldi at Jubilee Retail Park. The retail chain sells frozen, chilled, and fresh food as well as homeware, cleaning products, toys, and alcohol at affordable prices. Three people were stood outside the supermarket as they were welcomed in by the store’s management and staff members at 8am. Customers are required to use hand sanitiser and antibacterial spray on its trolleys and baskets before entering the store.
