Ahead of his visit to Bhopal on Tuesday, AICC in-charge Singh dismissed as “misinformation” the speculation of Kamal Nath’s possible switch to the BJP and asserted that the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister will join in the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in the state.
The BJP is reportedly in discussions with veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath and his son Nakul Nath to join the party. While Kamal Nath has not made any public commitment, sources close to him indicate his discontent with the current state of the Congress. Though no direct talks with Prime Minister Modi or Home Minister Shah have occurred, the possibility remains open. Nakul Nath is reportedly eager to join the BJP before the Lok Sabha polls.
