Campinas, SP, 6 (AFI) – Com a proposta de construir a Arena Ponte Preta, um Centro de Treinamento e imprimir um novo modelo de gestão no departamento de futebol, com a sua profissionalização total, foi lançada, nesta terça-feira, uma chapa de oposição para concorrer à eleição no clube, denominada DNA Pontepretano.
Em princípio, não existe um nome para a presidência, mas o grupo é ligado ao empresário Sérgio Carnielli, patrono do clube e que sonha colocar a Ponte Preta num patamar igual aos grandes clubes brasileiros. O dirigente ficou afastado do clube desde 2013, quando recebeu uma contestada punição da justiça e que perdurou até março de 2020.
