COLOMBO (News1st): Protests were staged in Sri Lanka in support of Indian farmers involved in demonstrations against the amendment of India’s farm laws.
Indian farmers have been staging demonstrations against the amendments citing that it would favour large scale companies such as the Adani group.
One protest had been organized by civic groups in Trincomalee.
