Laval's political parties are squaring off over turf literally as an empty lot in downtown Laval's downtown core takes centre stage in the city's development plans.
At the November meeting of Laval City Council, mayor Marc Demers elegantly sported a black bow tie, as did other members of Council, as a symbol of the fight against prostate cancer in Québec.
