Reporter yeah, and this is a sign that life is slowly returning to something resembling normal. All the students here at Piner High School are back in class this morning. One of the three schools that reopened today finally after the wildfires that devastated the north bay. The scene just before 8 00 this morning, an emotional return to class for students this morning. Lots of hugs and tears. The principal here says at least 80 students lost their homes in the fires. Also seven Staff Members including at least one teacher whose home burned as well. And for students whose homes were destroyed, being back at school feels like the right place to be now. I think its good to finally get back so we can get back in our daily routine, see all our teachers and friends to band together and support one another. All of us kids lost mostly everything
