As Hurricane Sally turns just sowings of alabama, forecasters say the storm could dump several feet of rain when it roars ashore near mobile bay tomorrow morning trapping people under sixfoot storm surge. So as we head through the next few days with the onshore flow that stronger sea breeze kicking in, its going to help to continue to mix out that smoke. So were looking at better air quality that cleaner air as we head through the workweek. Now daytime highs this afternoon, looking at mid 80s for con cord and livermore and low 80s for san jose and mid 70s in oakland and upper 60s for San Francisco. Coronavirus spreads. Last week the cdc updated its website to say its possible that covid19 may be spread through droplets and airborne particles that are formed when a person infected with the virus coughs sneezes scenes talks are even just breeds. Well now the cdc says that update was a mistake. They released a Statement Today reading a draft version of proposed changes to these recommendations was posted in error to the agencys official website. The cdc is currently updating its recommendations regarding airborne transmission of the virus that causes covid19. Once this process has been completed the updated language will be posted.
