Were looking at mid 80s in San Francisco and low 90s in oakland and mid 90s in san jose and dealing with triple digit heat in concord. 103 for a high in concord and because of the extreme heat, still for inland locations, concord is opening up a cooling center at the Concord Senior Center from 1 00 until 6 00, to give some relief to people, so go out there if you need some safety from these hot temperatures. Eastbound lanes remain closed from 73 to center road. A car veered off the road and hit a tree and then caught fire. Fire crews did have to pull a passenger out of the vehicle. The person was transported to a hospital with lifethreatening injuries. As far as the impact of traffic goes, you will see some delays in and around that area. It is shut down until further notice.
